In this browser's IndexedDB. Clearing site data can delete them, so export a Markdown zip regularly if you do not use Pro sync.

Where does Pro store my journal?

In a visible Writed folder in your own Google Drive. Writed uses the limited drive.file scope and does not run a hosted journal database.

Can I organize entries?

Yes. Add reusable tags, filter by one tag at a time, search entry text and tags, or jump to a date from the calendar.

Can I export or import entries?

Yes. Writed exports standard Markdown files with frontmatter, including dates and tags, in a zip and can import that format again.

Does it work offline?

Writing, search, tags, and calendar navigation continue after the app has loaded. Google Drive sync requires a network connection.

How much is Pro?

$10 per year, billed annually until canceled. It adds automatic Google Drive backup and multi-device sync. Billing can be managed from Settings.
